يقول نائب بقاعي إن اقتراح انشاء محافظة جديدة للبقاع الغربي وراشيا قد يكون سقط في مهده إذ ليس له من مبرر واضح ولا يبنى على دراسة جدوى إنمائية واجتماعية ولم تناقش الفكرة مع نواب المنطقة على الأقل قبل الاعلان عنها، اضف الى ذلك أنها تتطلب تنظيمًا كبيرًا تعجز عنه حاليًا الدولة التي لم تطبق قانون انشاء محافظة جبيل وكسروان حتى الساعة وفق صحيفة “النهار”.
