استقبل رئيس بلدية المرج منور الجراح سعادة سفير لبنان في فنزويلا الاستاذ الياس لبّس في منزله في المرج في البقاع الغربي.
وبعد اللقاء قال الجراح:” تشرفت اليوم باستقبال سعادة سفير لبنان في فنزويلا الاخ والصديق إلياس لبس، الذي اعتز بصداقته وعمق ثقافته، وهو من القامات الدبلوماسية الفاعلة على مستوى علاقات لبنان الدولية خصوصا مع فنزويلا التي احتضنت منذ عقود مديدة الكثير الكثير من اللبنانيين في ربوعها العامرة، وكانت ملاذا آمنا لهم وفتحت أمامهم آفاق واسعة، واستقبلت أدمغة لبنانية تركت بصمات مضيئة في شتى المجالات.
وأضاف الجراح” التمثيل الدبلوماسي الصحيح يعكس صورة لبنان وهويته وسعادة السفير خير من حمل أمانة تمثيل لبنان بشكل مثالي وهو قامة أخلاقية وانسانية نعتز بها ويعتز بها لبنان والسلك الدبلوماسي.
