قدمت المهندسة كارول توما درع Domaine de Chouchene إلى قائد منطقة البقاع العسكرية في الجيش اللبناني العميد روجيه لطوف وذلك تقديرًا لدور الجيش اللبناني في حفظ الأمن والإستقرار في لبنان وبمناسبة عيد الجيش اللبناني.
وكانت توما يرافقها زوجها السيد حسن الطرابلسي وفراس أبو حمدان والإعلامي سامر الحسيني قد زاروا منطقة البقاع العسكرية ظهر اليوم في ثكنة أبلح وقدموا الدرع إلى العميد روجيه لطوف وأثنوا على دور الجيش وإجراءاته بالرغم من كل الظروف الصعبة.
